Excessive Six-Day Musical Countdown To Get You Hyped Before My Birthday Wig-Out: Day 5
Day five and the weekend is within touching distance. If you notice any ice melting in your drink, that's easy to explain because Tropical Terror is bringing the heat. Plenty of tunes below to get adjusted:

Excessive Six-Day Musical Countdown To Get You Hyped Before My Birthday Wig-Out: Day 4
Day 4 and it's almost the weekend. The temperature's a-risin' and the sun's a-come out. Final preparations for the jump-off are being made, the drinks orders have been put in, and this paragraph's done.
Our next act on the poster is none other than The Itchy N' Scratchy Show, who celebrated their 2nd birthday in fine form last night in Madrid, and whose visual murderer Chino Cob will also be celebrating his coming of one age or another.
Bye for now,

Keeping on keeping on. Here's some live action from Primate of the Year you will grace us with a live PA transcending a variety of deep black dance genres, without a computer in sight, but plenty of analog boxes, moogs and a small organ you have to blow into. Fnar.

Excessive Six-Day Musical Countdown To Get You Hyped Before My Birthday Wig-Out: Day 1
Hi punters,
This is day one of a musical etc etc. As I am 'telonero' at my own birthday party, I shall select a jump-off to get the week rolling, handing the baton to Fitzroy N. tomorrow in order that he pick up the pace and sizzle along, followed by Primate, etc etc.
My joint's by the lid like Mele, who's productions of late have all been sizzling fresh, and he's Scouse into the bargain, so gets a triple thumbs up.
I Have Literally Forgotten About Dre Day
Sorry g. Your day literally just escaped me this year. I....I don't know what to say.
If I can can make it up in any way at all, it will be with this tremendous blend of your track that can once again remind us not to forget about Dre.

Interview: Cardopusher
Venezuelan by passport, Barnaman by postcode, Cardopusher has come to our attention through attention from such beacons of good taste as Sónar, which he blessed in 2009, and Fact, who are following his multi-disciplinary groove-infused bass trajectory with a keen eye.
He was kind enough to sit down and spit knowledge god with our traditional questions as stimuli.
What is your current favourite record?
There are too many records im digging at the moment but if i have to pick a club oriented one it´s "Computor Rockers - Computor Interface 12" (Breakin´Records, 2007)". It´s not so new but still a fresh record for me and represent a ton the stuff im in at the moment, also i´ve been very into DMX Krew and his other aliases since i started to make music. His new BBII - Tropical Laser Fantasy/Sagittarius 7" (Fresh Up Records, 2010) which is a mix of disco/library funk it´s killer too! Also the new "Ill Blu - Meltdown 12" (Numbers, 2011)" is one of my favourites to play at parties.
To listen at home i prefer a quieter mood and the ones constantly on my player at the moment are "Games - That We Can Play EP (Hippos In Tanks, 2010)", Lukid - Chord (Werk Discs, 2010) and each and every Madlib Medicine Show released until now (from 1 to 11).
What is the ultimate end of the night track?
A good track to end the night could be "Kid606 - Catstep/My Kitten/Catnap Batstep DSP (Hrvatski remix)" or this raptor house track called "Pan Con Mortadela" by an artist i haven´t found who it is. Most djs finish their sets same way they start them but nothing better than break that a bit and putting something fresh for your ears!
Which artist gets ultimate Cardopusher respect right now?
Im really feeling the recent record on Rephlex by an artist called Jodey Kendrick . Apparently he has been around for a couple of years and has just a few releases. There is not much info on the internet about him but sounds like it could be an AFX alias, im just keeping an eye on what he´s doing, loving the way he mix acid/funk/techno/drum machines stuff! Also a new artist who i discovered recently and im feeling a ton is Delofi, a guy from Cleveland who makes like an overdriven abstract hip hop. He is also part of Matthewdavid´s label Leaving Records along Yuk. and Ras G among others.
What parties are showing the rest how it's done?
One of the best gig i ever played has been at Boom Festival in Portugal, i never been in a festival like this before, located like 3 hours from Lisbon at Idanha-a-Nova Lake. It´s a very impressive place full of nature and the whole festival is independent covering music, art and loads more. i went with lot of friends who were also playing so definitely that made it even more special! After 3 days we didn´t want to leave the place! Also Bang Face Weekenders in the UK (at Pontins, a holiday centre located in Camber Sands) are huge!
What is your Plat du Jour?
Things i been into recently appart from music:
Movie: Exit Through The Gift Shop
TV: Modern Family, Shameless
Food: Japanese and Mexican
Drink: Rum x 1000 (my fave all the time)
Book at the moment: William S. Burroughs - Cities of The Red Night
The rest of the time (which is none) i spend it on my home studio!
Cardo has just been featured on the new Iberian Records EP, Tax Haven, which can be copped here, with an absolute stormer entitled 'Dembow Together'.
Plus if you want to check one of his eclectic and most enjoyable sets in person, here's a few dates for the agenda:
02/04/11 - Cardopusher @ L´Usine (Zoo) (Geneva, Switzerland)
28/04/11 - Outlook Festival Launch Party w/ Congo Natty + Jack Sparrow + Leones Humildes @ Razzmatazz (Barcelona)
30/07/11 - Norberg Festival (Norberg, Sweden)
1-4/09/11 - Outlook Festival 2011 (Fort Punta Christo-Pula, Croatia)
