MENEO €€ BASIC €€ REMIXES UNLEASHED!!

From 8bit… To... Supatit!

Their track BASIC has evolved into more than a gameboy track, gripping moments that picture influences from lo-fi electro to raggamuffin’ vocals and into acid techno.

With hand picked collaborations it's only now all starting to make sense. First up the massive London bass posse TOMB CREW bring it bad. Meneo met the crew at Barcelona's legendary bass party Plat du Jour (if we don't mind saying so ourselves)! They bring latin reggaeton percussion and dancehall rhymes along with an amazing rusty acapella from Voltaire (Clek Clek Boom).

In addition. A feature remix from Deadbots, a Berlin-via-Dublin bastard duo with blazing distorted melodies that will make your heart pound like a fat bastard.

1 – Basic Love – Meneo’s 8bit Original

2 – Basic – Meneo’s Automix

3 – I Know Bass – Tombcrew’s remix feat. Voltaire (Clek Clek Boom)

4 – Basic – Deadbots

And here we leave you the lo-fi video they did November last year in their squat in Raval (Barcelona), during what was obviously a really boring winter afternoon. This is what ignited all this after it got posted at the Mad Decent blog. Respect.
